The National School Attorneys Association (NSAA) recently held its 2nd Annual Conference, which gathered 150 school attorneys for discussions on school law, including insights from the Assistant U.S. Secretary of Education for Civil Rights regarding Title IX regulations. The conference also saw the election of new officers, with Andrew Manna as the new chair, and recognized outgoing chair Debra Silk. The importance of mental health in the legal profession was highlighted, alongside significant Supreme Court decisions on parental protests and funding for non-public schools, which were not taken up by the Court.
